Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to quash the order of the TANGEDCO and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground – The petitioner’s father died in a road accident on 23.04.2016, While he was on duty – The petitioner, was aged about 13 years at the time of her father’s death – Her mother pre-deceased her father on 08.10.2010 – Application seeking for appointment on compassionate ground made on 24.11.2021 – It was rejected on the ground that it is not made within 3 years – Based on the order of the Hon’ble Division bench in the case of S.Velraj Vs. The Superintendent Engineer (TNEB), the order of the respondent is quashed and the respondent was directed to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds.
