writ petition — to appoint petitioner as secondary grade teacher for the year 2008-2009 — selection of the petitioner as secondary grade teacher was cancelled on the ground that she has not passed 12th standard — As per the government order the candidates who has not obtained SSLC qualification prior to 31/5/1989 they have to pass higher secondary course — Since the petitioner has passed SSLC in the year 1985,even before the cutoff date, the cancellation of her selection as a secondary grade teacher is wrong and therefore it was quashed — The respondents are directed to appoint the petitioner as a secondary teacher within a period of 2 months.
